Wired ran an article in the last print issue about 7 biological experiments. These experiments would teach a TON about human development, genetics, the differentiation of species (primates specifically), the list goes on. The problem is, the subjects, for the most part, would literally* be ruined after the data is collected.

Honestly, I can't even give the article justice with my commentary, check out the source link. It really makes one think about the relationship between progress, research, mortality and ethics.
