A longstanding feud between them and their across the street neighbor Pat's Steaks has famously been existing since the 1960's. Though he was known as a controversial guy during his life, I really liked his Cheesesteaks.

Apparently he had just gotten through a successful round of cancer treatment, but a massive (sudden) heart attack was what killed him.
RIP Joey Vento.
