Right not Mt. Etna in Sicily is erupting, that in of itself is remarkable, but the what's more is the smoke rings that the Italian volcano is bellowing during this ordeal. See the video below.

Apparently this doesn't happen often. From the Gizmodo article linked below, its only been documented 3 times in the past. [Twice in 1970 (on My. Etna) and once in Iceland at Eyjafjallajokull in 2010].
Also kind of funny, is the picture below from the Daily Mail of beach-goers hanging out while part of the Earth literally explodes nearby.
