Gordon Biersch needs to stop whining

Gordon Biersch (and its decent DC area gastropubs), is apparently crying foul about a beer being made by Colorado-based Oskar Blue Brewery called simply "Gordon". The beer was named after a Colorado-based craft-brewing Vietnam Vet named Gordon Knight. OB had attempted to have its name trademarked 7 years ago but ultimately failed.

Now OB will instead just change it to G'Knight with the new slogan “Still big.  Still red.  Still sticky.”

Hats off to Oskar Blues Brewery. Their "back to basics" style of brewing and can-based distribution are really novel. Plus Dale's Pale Ale is one of the best tasting substances ever created by man, true story. (I WILL accept free beer from Oskar Blues... ha)
