125th anniversary of King Ludwig II's death

Not at Disney World

Above is a picture I took in 2005 when Wifey and I went to Oktoberfest, the first time. Castle Neuschwanstein was King Ludwig II's pride and joy, sadly he didn't live to see its (total) completion. Numerous theories have existed about foul play regarding his "drowning" death. In fact, the Bavarian secret society known as the Guglmänner are based almost entirely on this theory. I don't know enough about it, but he was known to be a very strong swimmer in great shape, yet died in shallow calm water of a nearby lake.
