Teenager lost on snowy mountain survives thanks to skills learned from Bear Grylls' Man vs Wild

A 14 year old kid in Oregon got separated whilst skiing with his family. Soon after the daylight disappeared he realized he wouldn't be able to make it down in the dark, so he built a wind shelter he had learned about on Man vs. Wild.

The mom was quoted as saying "...And I kept sending him messages of like, warm balls of fire, to keep him warm" which was weird. But it all worked out in the end.

Good job Bear!(and that kid). In all seriousness, congrats to Jake Denham (the kid). 99% of 14 year olds (I can't back that number up) would have died freezing in their own tears. Its good to see that a kid can still be tough.

I'm Bear Grylls and I would win fear factor with no problem
